About me

Hi, I’m Justine. I have been a Registered Nurse since 2000 and a Registered Midwife since 2008. I have extensive experience in Continuity of Midwifery Care and Newborn Intensive Care, and I have witnessed firsthand the benefits of a nurturing and supportive environment for women and their birth partners.

Inspired by my own birth experiences, as well as witnessing the transformative impact of Hypnobirthing techniques, I aspired to become a Certified Hypnobirthing Australia Practitioner. I am passionate about empowering women to embrace calm, positive birthing experiences, fostering confidence and trust in their bodies. I recognise the vital role of birth partners and strive to offer them guidance and support throughout the birthing journey. My approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and dignity, ensuring every woman and family feels supported and valued. I honour the innate strength and wisdom of women, and provide personalised care that addresses their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. 

I believe that a positive birth experience, regardless of the mode of birth, allows for the best start to new family life. I recognise the critical importance of providing comprehensive support to new parents during this often-overlooked period. As a parent myself, I understand firsthand the challenges and uncertainties that accompany the transition to parenthood. I believe that every parent deserves access to evidence-based information, practical guidance, and empathetic support as they navigate the early weeks and months with their newborn. Adored Parenting was created to address the unique needs of the fourth trimester. I am committed to empowering parents to not only survive, but to revive and thrive as they begin or continue their parenting journey.
